At just 15yrs old Heather shows maturity and a common sense approach far beyond her years. Heather started off with us at our cadets classes with her younger brother and quickly progressed to training three times a week including our adult classes.

Heather takes part in all of our club activities from tournaments to charity events to helping out behind the scenes, On her last birthday she spent the day busily helping the club raise funds for St Georges Neo Natal Unit.

This attitude and determination as well as her martial arts skills led her to being awarded the Female Martial Artist of the Year Award at our 2011 Awards Evening. An amazing achievement for someone so young!

Heather currently assists in our childrens classes and is a great asset to the club!
